FAMILY SUPPORT PLANNING GUIDE
The Family Support Planning Guide is presented by
FEMA Region VIII and the Colorado Federal Executive Board

When a disaster strikes our communities, Federal employees face a unique challenge. We must ensure that our own loved ones are safe from the impact of the disaster while continuing to serve the public by providing essential community services.

Making a disaster preparedness plan for our families and loved ones to follow during a disaster is an important first step to giving each of us the peace of mind necessary during a disaster. A minimal investment of time and money can go a long way toward that piece of mind for both you and your loved ones. A family disaster plan is the key.

To help you get started on your family preparedness journey, FEMA Region VIII, in partnership with the Colorado Federal Executive Board, has developed this guide to serve as a reference as you and your family prepare for disasters and emergencies.
